OEM bumper color?

What is the 67 baby Elan OEM bumper color? Looking at photos and at cars available to me around here I see various shades of silver or grey. And i doubt that any are the original paint. Were they metallic grey or silver? I've seen a photo in which the shade of silver could be described as nearly aluminum and it wasn't metalflake.
