Split Doors

One of my +2 doors has split along the back and lower seams.
Does anyone know how to make a repair, temporary and/or permanent.
Looks like by opening up the split I could get some glue (or gell?) in between, anyone had good results with this method and know what to use?
Thanks Mike.

Mike,
I did a similar thing when adjusting the doors on my S4 to fit better. I partially split the two halves of the door - get a good key on the surfaces using some 80 grit paper - and then glued them back using fibreglas resin and sandwiching a strip of 250 weight Chop strand matting to aid bonding. You'll need to have a good few small G-clamps aswell to hold the two halves securely together whilst the resin sets.
Worked excellently for me.
Cheers
