+2 rubber waist trim

I am attempting to install the rubber waist trim on my Elan +2. This trim fits between the window frame and the door and is above the chrome trim piece. It "wipes" the oudside of the door glass. It is horizontal and traverses the length of the door top.
It goes over the verticle "legs" of the window frame. Is it trimmed or relieved at theses points? Does it just lay over these verticle "legs".
A detailed close up photo would be appreciated.
thanks

Nice pics. You are a bit more delicate with the trimmer than I was. It just does not seem like a well planned transition.

They've been there for many years and are more than ready for replacement!
Some careful work with a box-cutter or similar could make a more professional installation and regular application of Armoral would be wothwhile - Florida sun can be pretty powerful!
Have fun, Ken

Hi,
I'm wanting to replace mine as well as they are perished but can I find anyone who stocks them?
If anyone knows where I can get the correct section of rubber please let me know as my doors are filling up with water!
Thanks.

Did you cut the runner after it was installed?

These photos look absolutely identical to my +2 which is completely original in this respect. You might have to trim yourself but these photos are perfectly representative.
