Spotted Ashby de la Zouch...and a question

I don't know whether the etiquette of this forum favours 'spotted' threads, so apologies if it doesn't, but I've seen a Yellow Elan Roadster (S2? D-reg) on several occasions passing through my home village, on the outskirts of Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, UK.

No one passes through where I live unless they are local or lost so I'm assuming from the multiple sightings that the owner lives close by?

Anyone on this forum, by any chance?

Secondly, a question for anyone in my part of the world: can you recommend a local garage for the annual MOT? I'm fairly new to the area, and I'm reluctant to take the Elan just anywhere, in case they do something stupid like jacking it in the wrong place!

not me I'm affraid,
But a "Spotted" thread comes up every so often, no problem..
On the same subject, anyonie own the blue and silver +2 that I have seen in Kenilworth (warwickshire). We've seen each other a few times when I have been in my deep red +2
