Rusty bracket

PostPost by: John Larkin » Wed Sep 13, 2006 1:29 pm

I found this piece of metal under some damp carpet in the driver's footwell of my 1968 S3 SE Elan coupe.

It looks familiar to me, but I cannot for the life of me recall what it is. I cannot find it in the Elan parts catalogue.

Does anybody know what it is?

John,

This is just an educated guess, but the part looks similar to the bracket that holds the receiving pin for the glove box latch on my car.
