+2/130 vs S3 DHC bonnet weight

Digging out S3 hood for painting after last working on it some 30 years ago,
I wonder if I got overzealous reinforcing hood fiberglass after seeing someone
sitting on my hood as they admired it. It weighs 15 pounds now without paint
and my sans paint +2S/130 hood only weighs 11 lbs and those hoods are much
larger although with metal framework support. This 11 lb +2 hood weight is
without any of the metal framing--glass only. The Lotus archives notes from 2001
show someone citing 5 kg (11 lbs) as expected weight for S3 DHC hood. Anybody
made measurements or be able to weigh them and inform me? Thanks. Gordon
