+2 rear screen rubber corner joint

If you look at the Elan parts list on Wiki (BB-Body-Primary Exterior) it clearly shows the little lower corner trim pieces, similar to those fitted to Cortina's etc. at the time, items 35 and 40. The fronts would appear to be S3 only, but the rears are S3/S4. Is there any evidence that they were actually ever fitted? I don't ever recall seeing them on a car or in a photo. On a mitred rubber they would certainly improve the look i.e. hiding the necessary cut to the infill trim.

I think the problem wil be the angle. Those trims look 90° so wrong angle
