TT Rolloverbar and sill bars

Hi All. Thread revival!

My Elan body and chassis are with the fibreglass specialists who have refurbished the body and I will be heading over there to fit the body and a Tony Thompson roll over cage in the next couple of weeks.
I have a couple of questions to help prepare myself please!

1) Does the kit come with fitting bolts (I guess these need to be longer than the originals)? If not any idea on lengths?
2) Do you need to make a hole in both wheel wells to fit the side bars? (It look like you would need to but the instructions refer to only one hole!)
3) Do the front bolts in the footwells go in the original body to chassis holes or do you need to drill new ones? This is a worry as once I am done I will need to get a DVLA inspection (I am doing an drivetrain conversion) and no chassis mods are allowed.

Many thanks!

It is a number of years since I fitted mine (so this may be out of date or plain wrong)

1. pass (I don't think those bolts are included)
2. you need a hole in each (rear) wheel well, assuming you have the stiffening 're-bar' ladder installed in the body (some don't)
3. iirc, the original pickup points are used throughout

Fantastic, that’s good to know. I do have the stiffening ladder so a chopping we will go! Good news about using the original holes. Looking at the photos, the original bolts may well be too short. Many thanks!
