Perhaps some of you are not reading this thread properly. I havn't heard anyone say they don't like the concept and I havn't heard anyone sniffing.
This is just an exchange of opinions. Please try and get a grip. Stop being so much on the defensive.
Can we get back to the real purpose of this excellent forum.

I think it is important that we respect the diversity that exists in the hobby. Whether an unmolested original, slightly modified for reliability, or ztec metamorphosis every car deserves respect for what it is or is not. As long as you are all enjoying your cars, who cares?

By the way I'm very impressed with the Dilutus +2 - I spent some time drooling over it at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and even toyed with the idea of getting one. Don't like the price much though.
