Well said that man! I'm entirely in agreement with you on this - keep your car really nice and well-presented, by all means, but don't take things to the point where you have to trailer it to events so that lesser mortals can drool over your obsessive determination. 'Drive it? - No, can't do that; it takes too much time to clean it again, besides which, it adds to the amazingly low mileage that makes it worth so much.' I can just imagine what Colin Chapman's reaction might have been to that attitude!
