Mid 65 S2 interior door lever assembly

Supporting Barney and Brians info, I have/had an early S2 sn 39xx and a later 44xx: the early one had the Horizontal lever and the later car had the Vertical lever, they both mounted to the same type mechanism as Brian (ident: type26/36) pictures, both use the same outside handle and lock tumbler. (Incidentally the inside moulding of the doors between S1/2 and S3/4 are significantly different so a later mechanism highly difficult in an early car!)
Below is a picture of a Vertical RH unit (note a horizontal LH can look like a vertical RH if not examined closely the horizontal I recall are longer and more pointy at the end).
My apologies if this is Deja vu all over again.
If interested in the part in the pict. make me an offer just worth my time to mail to you. I have sent you stuff before if you may recall.
Best wishes, Jack (in Ontario)

Your top link didn't bring up anything relevant when I viewed it; lots of other interesting stuff though.
The second showed a correct lock mechanism though without a lock, ie a rear door latch;
The third is still relevant.
The S1/2 interior handles are unique and are just a bent pieces of metal.
The external door pull is unique (and brass), but it has been copied, I believe, and offered on this forum.

Tony Thompson have a simplified version of the internal handles listed but are Aluminium and without the folded over top.
They also have Aluminium versions of the exterior handles.
As these are made for racing versions maybe they know of somebody who has replaced the originals?

I should have four hinges in spare. I have to check out my boxes. Could take around two weeks to find out.
