Hello,
this is just a closing message for this thread, to keep all informed who have shown an interest:
I went to see the car and I bought her. It is a late 1973 130/5 but with the four-speed box (a new T9 5-speed is already waiting, so that is not a problem). The paint is shot, needs the full works. I could not find any indication of deeper damage. The worst is the hood onto which something hot had fallen, but even here the original coat underneath seemed undamaged. Otherwise the whole car had received a respray which was, as far as I could see, quite thick - the usual problem.
Otherwise the condition is largely original with practically everything working, if a little jerky. She can be driven and my plan is to put her on the road briefly to see how the lot behaves before I take her apart. I am in the midst of finishing the Alvis Special, so this will have to wait.

Hi
Well done, best of luck with the car, and looking forwards to seeing some photos!

Berni
Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.
