For the Plus 2 the two fasteners through the boot floor use nuts, along with the two fasteners located by the steering rack. Not sure for the Elan as I see on Ray’s online parts manual he only calls up one nut at the rear. The bolt kit may be set up to work for both models? As an aside, the boot fastener is where the Plus 2 mounts the battery ground, but a lot of folks have moved the ground cable to the right side rear shock tower screw; threading directly into the frame and out of the muck it is a way better chassis ground. Can’t recall if the ground cable attachment used an extra nut?
For alignment of the frame drilling’s through the bobbins into the new frame (discussion earlier in this older thread mind you), the ‘proper’ tool is called some variety of machinists’s centre transfer punch. The punches are sized to snuggly fit the guide hole and mark the exact centre. Of course, if you are handy you can make something up, but this is the an of the box solution.
I expect the set includes such a wide size variety to account for marking through threaded and unthreaded guide holes.

Well i've had 3 different +2 and one Elan Sprint.
Sprint only one Nut on the Battery Earth.
Maybe the +2s had two Nuts in the Boot.
I've not seen Nuts at the Front. The Bobbins for the Lugs next to the Steering Rack should be tapped for Set Screws NOT through holes.
