Yes - that's why I titled this thread with both spellings of fibreglass/fiberglass - so that future searchers on both sides of the ocean can benefit from this group's expertise.

I had completely forgotten about Forstner bits and brad point bits. Kinda sad, given that I've used both types in the distant past (on wood).
