Salut theelanman
Tempted - problem would be to get them posted to me here in France.
I'll ask a mate if he's interested - would make more economical sense to get two sets posted - would a wooden box (battens and fibreboard) be a possibility?
Also, what about getting something like this made up:
Doesn't have to have the Lotus logo.

Hi Gareth,
Count me in please!
I have the perfect long thick cardboard tube for the job as I am in scotland. Happy to post it to you if needed.
(bought a pair of 2nd hand ones but they just aren't good enough for the restoration).

I had a pair of these trims shipped to me in the past in a plastic pipe...the sort that lets water escape out of the bath (about 5cms diameter)! It will add a couple of ??s to the cost of postage, but they will arrive safe and sound.

spoke to them today...
3 week lead time
so...I hope that we can get this done in the next week (well I shall place the order and pay....based on people agreeing to buying a set)
which would mean I'd have them for sending out by the end of the month......
how does that strike people?
thanks
Gareth

Hi,
sounds good to me, i'm in no rush so time not of the essence. Just let me know when you have them and we can discuss delivery, collection and payment etc.
Thanks for your efforts, best regards, George...
