Mark is usually off working in some far flung part of Africa and I don't think he can always get access to the internet, I'm sure he will be along just now.

Sorry guys...

Sunday was a half day working here in sunny Nigeria.

The carpet you a looking at is a 100% pure new wool berber (heavy domestic) so may be a bit tougher to install. I have just ordered 10 Sq Metres for ?238 delivered.

The carpet type is....

I bet if some resourceful chap on the other side of the pond supplied Mark's carpet to Susan Miller she would get them cut and sewn up to pattern for you. :D Just a thought. At least in the Plus 2 the pieces didn't have to take much in the way of strange curvature, so perhaps not a big issue if the material is a bit heavier. Not so sure if heavier material would work to well on door cards though.

Looks like residential carpet with the heavy (ie. stiff) backing. Could be difficult/impossible to sew?

I have an origional carpet set, removed from my S4, and apart from the floor mats for the heel mat and where the seat belts come through the rear panel there is no sewing as I can see. None of the origional carpets on my S4 were edge bound.

In fact the origional carpet was quite thick too. Anyway, you pay your money take your chance. I have been looking for ages. In fact I bought a Dave Bean loop pile carpet set had it shipped to the UK and I wont fit it. If anybody wants to buy it its for sale.

thanks

I just got a couple of sample pieces from Acc & the one of the samples is close to the original carpets. It is a loop pile in nylon & unlike the other samples I have received the loops are in straight lines & not random.
The web site is www.accmats.com. & the material is 601 Nylon.
Frank you mentioned that you are a dealer for them, any advantage to you or the purchaser if we order through you?

Just got back home to look at the loop pile carpet I've bought. Yes a tad heavier but VERY VERY VERY close to the origional. Well pleased.

If I have any left I can send samples out

cheers

That looks great.

the stiffer back will be good for the floor and great at holding damp fibreboard in shape!
