If you look at this video from the 4:50 point you will get a good look at a bullet type door mirror. It is the same as the original fitment on my S4 and is attached using three self tappers. It is chrome plated plastic (or chrome looking plastic) and weighs very little. I fitted it using a piece of neoprene rubber under the base so that it will give a little if bumped and not damage the fibreglass. No requirement to pull the door apart. The mirror is a Vitaloni "Sebring" and I purchased it from this company.
