Windscreen Scratches

PostPost by: kevin » Wed Oct 06, 2004 12:25 pm

The windscreen of my +2 is covered in fairly light, fine, short scratches both inside and out. Whilst they are not normally noticable during the summer months, recently they have become a hazard whilst driving when the sun is low as the screen becomes very difficult to see through.

Does anyone know of any methods to polish out the scratches (DIY or professional), or do I need to look at obtaining a new windscreen?

Thanks

Kevin

Eastwood (www.eastwood.com) sells at kit (about $50. US) that I have used in the past with good results. It works very well if the scratches can not be felt with your finger nail.
