What is it?

I am still looking to learn more about my S4 FEDERAL. Who can tell me what was fixed behind and a little below, each of the seats by means of 4 fixings to the floor. I attach the photos of the traces in the carpet. This has a rectangular shape of 13cm x 18cm.

Seat runners. Should be black and have a lip to prevent the seat from tipping up. A tab on the rear seat support slots in to do this.
I know they were standard on the Sprint but am not sure at what point they were introduced to the Federal versions of the Series 4. Just checked and the non-tip runners were introduced at Unit No. 9267, which was invoiced in July 1969.
The attached photos shows some. The alu one is a later type provided by Lotus parts suppliers.

The pattern appears to be from the pads fitted to the bottom of the main hoop of a roll bar.

To me, it looks like a speaker or Radio component fixing.

Is there perhaps any evidence that a matching rectangular plate was also mounted underneath the floor?
If so, bolting through top and bottom plates might have been a way of transferring roll bar loads through the floor without cutting large holes, or having to finish welding up the frame in situ etc.
Cheers
