ALD - 1969 Plus 2S Restro

PostPost by: Matt Elan » Wed Nov 20, 2024 6:07 pm

I want to fit my pedal box, but the car had a fire in its dim and distant past and the PO has grafted in a new section which includes the top of the footwell. So I don't have a hole!
What I need if possible are:
The distances from the vertical bulkhead to each corner of the rear edge of the box
The distances from the inner wing to the front and rear corners
Would someone be able to take some measurements from their Plus 2 so I can cut the hole?
I have a narrow pedal (i.e. the 5 inch width one) and here are a couple of pics of the virgin footwell top; one with the reinforcement plate sitting where I suspect the box needs to go:

Many thanks!

Mine are both Left Hand Drive, I can get under/inside too if it helps?

I could be wrong, but I do believe some add a reinforcement panel to the inside?

Find out where the limits are, and start from there

Hi H2H
That would be great I’m sure the measurements would be the same for lhd and rhd and I should just need the top measurements thanks
That’s my reinforcement plate in one of the pics which fits in the footwell which I’ll be using as a template to cut and drill the hole
Cheers Matt
