Seat catches

Hi. Just rebuilding my seat frames new tubing etc and noticed the seat forward and back catch is on the same side on both seats ( on left sitting in car ) is this correct. Kind regards. Len

Mine is as well. I assume that it simplified the manufacturing.

I read somewhere on here that the later models had the mechanism on the same side, but I know on my S2 they were mirrored. Don't know when it changed.

Opposite sides on my S2.
Same sides on my Sprint.

Need to find new peg springs think it’s what you call that kind of spring to go on seat levers Len

Same side on both my Sprint and late S3, on the right, sitting in the seat.
