Body removal

PostPost by: street » Thu Oct 06, 2022 8:51 am

Whilst I’m
Pretty confident everything is disconnected, with the help of six the rear and middle was lifting, however front wanted to sag down if it was caught. Any suggestions, welcome.

If I can get it to local car club, I assume 4 post lift under jacking points is best option.

Have you got the two bolts out that go through the steering rack mounting arms.

Street,

I think what is being referred to are the front most extremities of the chassis, which are just forward of the rack, and found within the nose of the body. You may also have some additional electrical items/earths added by previous owners.

Might just need a good wack - when I re united mine I really had to work hard to get the front turret holes to realign with the bobbins, it was tight.
