Does anyone know of a supplier of a the cross shaft you find in the pedal box. I think part number A0500J0022. My car is 50/1510 Federal spec, so I think that is the right one. I've looked at the usuals and no one seems to stock them.

I don't believe it is available as separate part. Its just a length of 1/2" bar with couple of holes for split pins to hold it in place. So should be easy enough to make.
I believe some people get a 13mm bar instead as allows removal of any play due to wear. But probably want to asses what you have before deciding.

It's also worth drilling/cross drilling the bar ( a la crankshaft ) and fitting a grease nipple in the end.

+1 for John.
I have had the pivot bar rust up in the past and fitted grease nipples.

So there you go Jeffp,
Three choices they're all good and better than original. Take your choice.
