Does anyone know if the 1967 S3 DHC came with Sun Visors?

I can't speak for all of them, but my 67 S3/SS DHC did not have sun visors or fixings for them when I bought the car in 1979.

I don't think any of the open Elans had them, Frank. I've been tempted to fit some myself but expect the slipstream would rip them off.

Thank you StressCraxx and Meg. I'm very familiar with S1's and S2's and I am positive they never came with Sun Visors. My good friend Greg has a 72 Sprint and it did leave the factory with Visors. But the S3's I'm not sure of. I have a S3 that I'm about to sell and just had the body painted. When I removed the piece of aluminum trim at the top of the windshield frame, there were no Sun Visors and it didn't appear to have ever been removed before.

DHC Sprints had them as factory fitments.

My car is a 1968 S4 FHC. I have had the car since 1979, it had no visors when I bought it and I can see no witness marks on the head lining.

My sprint didn’t come with sun visors.

Mine, a '71 Sprint FHC, had no visors as well.

So has anyone found a source for them, I suspect from a common vehicle in a wreckers yard?

I’ve an original pair with welded seams if anyone is interested. Won’t be cheap though as very rare.

My 1969 S4 SE Federal has sun visors, as from the factory.

Thank you everyone for the information. I am assembling a few parts on a very cool Project Car. I removed the aluminum trim at the top of the windshield frame while having the body painted. I did not find any large holes for the visor parts, not did I find any visor parts in the many boxes of spare parts. But I didn't want to rivet the trim in place without the visors if they were suppose to be there. From everyone's comments I will assume it never had visors and I will not rivet the trim in place. Thank you everyone!!!
