Rear screen rubber profile

Comparing the replacement rubber bought from Kelvedon Lotus with the one taken off I notice they are very different. The one on the left is the original and on the right the replacement. Anyone fitted the section illustrated on the right, is the one on the left actually correct, if so who sells it?

I went round the houses on rubber profile that the various vendors sell. They all sell something different which is different to what was fitted originally. Some are not overall wide enough I concluded!
In the in the end I took a gamble and got mine from Paul Matty for my +2 this last year, it still wasn't quite the same as the original but it fitted and worked out just fine.

Thanks Alan, I see that Woolies (https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/category/122/screen-section) sell something that looks more like what I took off, but I have no idea whether the seal I took off is even correct.

BTW something else to watch for, and I discovered is different from the various vendors, is that not all the plastic chrome insert is the same profile!
I would ensure you get the chrome insert from the same supplier, whoever you go for, as the rubber!
My gamble with the Matty supplied rubber and chrome insert worked for me.

I got my rubber from Macgregor British car parts in Dundas Ontario. Fits like a treat and priced in Canadian $$ (80 cents US). They guarantee the fit.
The front and rear screens are different, They also have the boot and door seals. also guaranteed.

Thanks Bill, just to confuse me further Paul Matty (the U.K. supplier) sent me the same rubber for front and rear so I was unaware the rubbers were different (bought my car in bits). Having seen your mail and spoken to them they confirm they made an error and are now sending the correct front rubber.

Your welcome, My '72 Sprint - partially restored when I found it, is also short of lots of bits and pieces - we enthusiasts sure have a weird way of having fun, don't we??

^^ Good advice on the chrome.
The key dimensions if the chrome is a given, is the thickness of the glassfibre, the thickness of the glass and the gap between the two.
TTR supplied the same rubber front and rear. From memory about 6mm for both sections. Quite clearly in the case of the rear I recently inserted, the fibreglassglass was about 2mm and the screen about 6mm. More like the Kelvedon item. I actually bought mine specifically to fit the gaps. I don't think it was from Woolies, but they all do the same .
