Windscreen washer jets

I urgently need some windscreen washer jets, before I put the dash back in for fairly obvious reasons. I want them in chrome and I don’t want poor quality.
The problem is I can’t find anything with a decently long thread to cope with the thick fiberglass. I scoured the interweb and ordered something that looked like it might do the job, waited a week for them to come and their useless!
Any suggestions of what to use, I don’t care about originality, they just need to be chrome, of a decent quality and with a good long thread.

I was just comparing the jets on my 2 Elans parked side by side. The older pre-airflow coupe has a sort of a tubular right angle jet that are screwed together while the Super Safety has a flatter, round "diner plate" sort of jet. I'd love to send you photos but I'm 900 miles away now.

I had the same issue with Jets purchased off EBay, at first not realising how thick my body was in that area.
I purchased a set of chrome jets, very similar to your photo from PM back in 2012. Cannot currently get on his site.
The thread length was greater, but still not quite long enough, so using a back spot face tool; I removed a small amount off.
You can just see it if you zoom in on the photo below. I have put a yellow circle on, as the photo was previously marked up a crash pad question. Not the best photo to illustrate, but all I could find at present.
BUT, I note on SJ site it states
“SJ036M0061 - WASHER JET (Chrome)
Supplied complete with sleeve nut so GRP thickness no problem.”

Personally, I am having some difficulty seeing how the “sleeve nut” works.
I have my old, broken plastic jets somewhere in the garage; I will check how long the thread is on them.

I did look on SJ’s site but did not see them. As you say they don’t look like they will help that much. I got creative on the lathe this morning, took a stainless steel bolt, turned the head down then drilled and tapped it. I cut the top part of the jet off and screwed that into my adapter then put a brass tube connector on the bottom. All glued up with permanent locktight. The hole diameter in the body needs to be a bit larger but mine was already oversize so no great problem. It doesn’t look that pretty when magnified, but what you see from the outside looks fine.
I’m getting towards the end of a very long rebuild, I find one can waste hours on really trivial stuff like this, all very annoying.

Yep, been there many times, part of the fun/pain of a total Lotus restoration.
Like you I have a lathe and other very useful equipment including a 2 post lift.
A bit late, but the required thread length is 15mm. Although I found the old broken jet quickly, probably a first

Are these Jag ones long enough? Double jet so different style but they look to be long and also have rubber spacer that can be reduced in thickness.
