What a mess!!

Turned my attention to under the wheel arches this afternoon, removing the undersea etc. I knew before I started that something was a bit off beam. Some areas had thin grp applied to the grey gel coat and just peeled off ( a form of bodgers feathering). As I progressed I uncovered this mess. I haven't looked at the rear of the arch yet, but I suspect similar. The nearside looks as though it might be worse.

My Bourne body S1 had seams like that front and rear in the wheel arches. The underlying grey gel coat looked quite pristine, which to me implied it was 'factory'.
