Elan S3 door weight

Hi

Is anyone in a position to weigh a complete S3/S4 door for me? Door, glass, frame, motor, furniture, etc.

Or does anyone already know the answer?

I have an empty door shell (don't we all? ). It weighs 11 lbs. Hopefully somebody else can report the frame, glass & motor weight.

I'll give a couple of days for someone to respond w/ a complete door, before I try to help. The windows glass is still in the frames, and I can add the door handles window motor and interior panel (door card), and that should get you close. Do you want the aluminum kick plates or is yours the later carpet fitted door panel?

Ok here goes for the door components (door shell is on the car, so no weight)
Winder motor incl harness 1.3 kg
Ext door handle S3 type 0.3 kg
Door latch mechanism 0.36 kg
Interior door handle S3 type 0.08 kg
Interior door remote mechanism with push rod 0.3 kg
Winder motor retaining plate 0.32 kg
Aluminium kick plate 0.12 kg
Door card fully upholstered with leather S3 type 1.02 kg
Door frame S3 with integral pull handle, fully assembled with glass, drum, pulleys, cable 6.20kg
All fixings 0.12 kg

Total 10.12 kg or 22.26 lbs
Plus the door, weight posted above, 11 lbs makes a total 33.26 lbs.
