Elan S2, window channel lock

PostPost by: sonunet » Fri Nov 22, 2019 6:20 am

Hi, I?m looking for the window lock mechanism (pivot and the plastic lever). If anyone has one or a sketch for both the left and right side please post.

Also I could possibly 3D print the lever if someone can post the size dimension. Length, width of the top bulb, bulb to base, and bottom of the base by the threaded metal dowel dimensions.

my bet is that that is not an original plastic lever/knob.

I agree, looks like a door lock button a bit like this from some other car.
The original ones from my S2 are show in this thread.

Thanks, gents! I'm almost done modeling the plastic knob. The link focuses on the threaded rod vs the knob. If someone can provide me the dimensions (length, width, based width, hight, where the thumb plane starts from the base, etc), I can get this wrapped up and printed on my 3D printer. I'm assuming it's either M5x.8m or #10-32 threads?
