My 47 year old front and rear screen rubbers need replacing.
Not a job I fancy tackling myself so wonder if anyone can recommend someone in the Merseyside/Cheshire/ N Wales area that I can entrust with the job.
Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard,
I'm in the same boat and was going to use Oakmere (Chris Neils). Where did you source the front screen rubber and how do the lower corners look?
cheers
Mark

There is a father and son team at Automotive Windscreens near Mold that I would recommend. They are actually immediately opposite Padeswood cement plant on the Mold to Chester road. https://automotivewindscreensltd.co.uk/contact/
Steve and Neil but I cannot remember which one is the Dad or Son.

Thanks Richard, easy drive out to Mold!
Mark - I haven?t got as far as getting the rubbers/inserts yet. Usually try Sue Miller first. We should meet up sometime as a long time since the 2 Lagoon BlueSprints made each other?s aquaintance! Mine is still a lot less shiny than yours!

Richard,
Bit of an update. Bought a new front screen surround from Paul Matty. The bottom mitre looks pretty much spot on when offered up against the old one. Just got to be brave and get it fitted now...
Cheers

Richard,
Just thought I'd post some pics of the PM seal.
Angles look good and it also has the "flap" seal all the way around. Be a few months before fitting due to work.
cheers
ps my son just made consultant anaesthetist a long long 15 years of hard graft...

Question to the experts...
My car never had a "trim finisher" on the chrome windscreen filler strip. Where these ever fitted a la the Triumph screen below, item no. 11??
Just seem a good way of finishing a join.
thanks

Mark, they are not shown or listed in the parts manual but I think it looks better with them fitted ...........maybe it was one of Chapmans weight saving measures

Appropriate timing, this thread popping up. I need to understand if this can be repaired by an unbiased party.
Any suggestions for kent / Surrey / Sussex areas ?
Thanks
Richard

Looks like a large ?hole?, have you tried a specialist company. If it can be repaired probably still road legal due to the position.
Good luck
