Hi can anybody help with measurements for fixing badges to my s4 ? I?ve got a s4 badge and a elan badge thanks

Hi Shaun,
Away from the car at the moment, so unable to help with measurements. However, if you look on the inside of the boot and footwells, you may be able to see where the original holes were. Could be a hole, or a worm of body filler to indicate same.

As posted the most accurate way to find the location is to find the original holes from the inside.

In the process of preparing my car for paint I recently removed the badges on my S4. The photos below may provide some additional help in locating the badges.

It is a small point but if you are a freak for originality the Elan badges forward of the doors are rarely parallel with the road, possibly intended to follow the bottom curved line of the wing. Because I'm a bit of a scallywag and it always annoys me I usually adjust them to be level when I restore a car. So if you find yours are not level that is most likely how it came from the factory!

A good way to find original holes is to shine a bright light on the body from outside and see where any light comes through from inside. It might not work if there is a lot of paint, but works well on unpainted shells, including showing up where it is thinner - useful on repairs.
