LHD wiper motor location?

Am I correct in assuming the LHD Elans had the wiper motor in the same position as the RHD cars?

I guess that depends on where they are located in RHD cars! I don't remember where they were on the RHD cars I had back in the day.

Anyway, in LHD cars the wiper motor is on the LH side, above the handbrake.

They were all located on the left hand side. Same for the Europa. Jim
