Glue for felt seal

Hello all,
anyone tell me what glue they use / recommend when fitting the U section felt seal for the window glass into the chrome door frame....the seal that the side glass slides in....the manual states some sort of Dunlop??

High temp contact adhesive from woolies-trim

Went high temp as sunlight does warm the chrome a lot!

New channels may well be tight enough on their own.
When I took my originals out after 40 years the glue wasn't doing a lot and the new one have stayed put without any help.
I await a put down!
