REAR STRUT CROSS BRACE

Which series of cars had these braces and how are they attached to the chassis?
I saw an Oldelanman posting here:
elan-mods-f31/battery-cut-off-switch-t27407.html
which shows a battery isolator attached to one of these braces.
Presumably cars with the braces all have removable rear panels (unlike my S1)?

According to the parts list on the RD Enterprises site the brace was fitted from S3 onwards. It fits on the inside of the body using the two body mount bolts which screw into the rear towers.

Thanks for the info. and the photo.
So the brace appears to make use of the Type26 seatbelt mounting points.
Presumably all cars fitted with the brace as standard used different seat belt attachment points?
Interesting - it's given me an idea (only an idea) for mounting a second speaker on my back panel without having to drill any extra holes.

That's correct the seat belt mount is further outboard on an outrigger bracket which fits under (or maybe over, I can't remember) the suspension top mount.
