Vernon,
My workshop manual (1974) doesn't give an overall measurement in the chassis diagram, nor does it give you the pertinent measurements to add up.
A quick steel tape measurement of my 1970 chassis came to 112" ? 0". That's from the very rear edge of the tray beneath the diff to the ends of the front "horns" that the steering rack mount is welded to. Do you need it more precise than that?

Vernon,
Bud is right on the money. I have a new Lotus +2 frame in my workshop. I just measured the greatest length dimension to be 285 cm (112"). Expect some small amount of variability (maybe +/- 0.5 cm) in this dimension as it is from the very front of the steering rack mount outriggers and the very end of the lower panel of the backbone. Lotus would have no reason to control this dimension to a tight tolerance.

Suppose I am trying to see if there is any new development, information since these have been a few years.
Also, hoping to spark some interest in wiki sticky faq etc contributions/content.
