Hi Bryn
I think the ones of the Older Austin and Morris Mini Bonnet can be adapted. I have just fitted a couple to my bonnet and they seem 2 work OK. They look very similar to the one on my boot.
Got them from www.minispares.com
Best of Luck

I reversed the lever on my old mini, and attached a cable to it so I had a cable operated bonnet latch, so that it would be more difficult to get at my 1400 engine.
I started a thread on this a few weeks back, as I'm convinced my boot latch will stick with the boot shut - a big pain to recover from involving drilling through behind the number plate.
Sean.
