I'm debating making or buying metal or rubber sill guards for my S4. I want to protect the paint from foot scrapes. Any info on sources, pattern or materials appreciated.

Hi Phil,
I too have a FHC (S3) and was thinking about the same thing. I have been hesitant as I have yet to drag my shoes across the stills. My biggest problem is the seat belt buckle banging the outside of the sill. I saw a while ago someone on the Esprit list in the UK was doing sill plates in stainless steel, they looked very nice and had ESPRIT etched into them. The same for the Elan I think would also look nice, but possibly of limited function. Counter to "add lightness" though.
