Dash dimensions

Help!!!
I asked my tame guru to give me the dimensions of his dash,but am now getting tired of waiting!
Please,could someone give me the measurement from floor to bottom of dash on a series 1 elan,as i'm starting from scratch.

My S1 dashboard is thirteen inches from the top to the bottom. I have a beautiful new (repro?) LHD dashboard for sale. I could send you a life size negative template of it on paper if you need RHD.

Thanks,but that sounds like top of dash to top of tunnel,-what i need is either floor to bottom of dash in drivers cockpit,or,top of dash to bottom of dash,measured between tacho & speedo.
part of my problem is that computer and car are twenty miles apart!

Gotcha! I measure 18 and 1/4 inches from floor by trans to bottom of dash, just at the edge of the curve. It's 19 inches out at the other end, far left corner at rocker sill. The wooden dash is 5 inches through the center of the tach (left gauge) and 5 and 1/2 inches through the speedo. (nearest center of car) In between the speedo and tach is the rounded steering column cut out, it's 4 and 1/4 inches there. These are from a "restored" original Left hand drive S1 Elan. Hope this helps, do you have a dash?

Thats brilliant!!,Thank You!!.Didnt have a dash,but will have by this afternoon-ultimately am intending to use aluminium,but for now a sheet of 12mm exterior ply.
