Hi everyone,
It's time to replace the cleaned interior in my S130/5 (pressing jobs to do all over the car but the rear interior was the easiest place to start). Before it goes back can anyone recommend a make/ model of speaker which fits discretely under the 6?" circular black grills standard on the rear shelf of the late S130? Grateful for any suggestions.

Not sure if their was a standard grill fitted. My 72 plus 2S 130/5 has 2 rectangular chrome grill speakers fitted with the Motorola turnaloc radio. For these sorts of items Lotus fitted whatever was cheap and available that week when they were assembling the car.
I think you will find any standard 6 inch circular speaker cone will fit under your covers without to much trouble

Thanks for your reply Rohan. It looks like another outing to the the car stereo shop for me and my grills. It seems these black grills were standard on cars from mid '73 onwards. I've only found this one picture on the net:-

The bronze Daytune restoration at Paul Matty's has these grills - I'll give Peter Day a call.
Thanks again,
Si

Thanks Gary,
I'll do that. My grills have lost a couple of the threaded studs and I could do with replacing them - I knew they were made by Radiomobile or Motorola but I had no idea where to find any - I tried Christopher Neil as I figured they might have a good supply of redundant back shelves having done so many conversions but sadly they had none.
A smaller version was fitted in the doors of the series 2 and 3 XJ Jaguars.
Thanks again,
Si
