oh, by the way...

...managed to find out what was causing my wheel arch eating, rubbing and general bodywork problems. (front wheels ate chunks of inner and outer wing/wheelarch.) Everything was a suspect - the new suspension, new wishbones, assembly, geometry, spring rate, set up, etc... and the winner was?

...the new s130 alloys from Paul Matty. They had a slightly different rim offset than the original ones - we're talking a few mm. However, that was enough to cause all the above. Problem to be solved by putting 70 profile tyres on the fronts instead of the current 80s.

Nothing's ever simple.

I'm shocked that PM would get this wrong.

Do you know if yours are a one off set that are different or are they all at this wrong offset??

What offset are they at?

Have you spoken to PM yet so that they get a chance to change the wheels. It seems wrong that you have to buy new tyres of wrong size because the wheels are wrong. I'd talk to PM and see what they say - they are always very good and am sure that that they would want to know about this.

Rob...I'm surprised too. It seems strange to get something wrong that's so basic. They were only made in one size offset that I know of. I've some originals here if you want to check them out, unless you've already done so.
