Early S4 Lockable Glovebox Pull Strap

Dear All,
I have replaced my dash, and in the process have lost/misplaced the
leather/vinyl pull strap for the glovebox. This is an early S4 with a
lockable glovebox that requires a pulling device, once the lock button
is pressed, to open the glovebox. Any assistance re: material, shape,
size, colour and method of attachment would be greatly appreciated.
Even perhaps a photo if someone could manage.

I have seen cars with a little leather strap there. I have no idea if this is original or not but it looked OK to me. Any good saddeler would be able to make you something like that.
