Wing Mirror Adjustments

Hi all,
The driver's side mirror on my +2S flops down at speed now, as there isn't enough resistance to hold it in place at speeds of over about 50mph. I figure there must be a way to tighten it, but I've had a look and I can't see how. Anyone done this before? I hope they're not sealed units!!
Thanks,
G

I think it would depend on what type of mirror it is, mirrors often have a "ball and scocket" arrangement so the view can be adjusted and these are often behind the mirror glass. Usually there is a cup and spring but to get to it can involve taking out the glass
An other solution would be to not drive over 50mph

Ha!! As If!!
Ok - so the glass may have to come out. Hmmm. Sounds fun! Wish me luck doing that without breaking anything.
