Tall block project for sale

Complete tall block TC engine, all std sizes on crank and bores and ready to assemble. Came from a 1979 Jubilee Caterham seven and supplied as a new unit by Vegantune for that car but its not one of their belt drive units. Vegatune were possibly casting new TC heads by this time?
Head was accidentdamaged to the front timing chain area and repaired by Paul Exon (invoices to confirm). New valves and seats etc. fitted just before this event
I've known the engine from new and it has done 50k miles. Comes complete with matched Dellorto carbs, front cover and everything including new shells and rings to assemble - only needs gaskets, cam bearings, and a tall block spacer as original one is damaged My machinist measured everything and declared it 'perfect' but did a light bore de glaze and crank polish and supplied new Glyco bearings and Goetze rings.
Cam cover freshly crackle painted in red. Not sure what the cams are but look like Sprint or L2(?) - definately not SE as the lobe profile is much less 'pointy', longer duration?
The engine is dry sumped with a period Burton kit including pump, sump, tank and remote filter. I intended to assemble it for a Mk1 Escort TC replicar but time and a house move has conspired against me - need to clear the workshop.
£3k firm for the entire package. Good basis for fast road car or Escort/Seven as was my original intention or an Elan?
