I absolutely love these wheels. However, am I correct in thinking they require a spacer to fit on our hubs, or is that incorrect?

Hi.
The wheels were supplied for a Series 4 Elan. For this application they fit the knock on hubs directly.

quite interesting: would you have photos of an S4 with these wheel fitted (possibly illustrating clearances to stock fender lips or suspension innards)? also mention the tires size when fitted ?

it's not as easy as it seems to find alloy wheels fitting an original 2 seater, even S4, due to backspace vs. dimensional constraints...

I have these with my Revolutions, which are identical to yours.

The set includes the chrome rings and tools to do and undo the spacers.

I had a set of these that I sold a long time ago. They came with some sort of steel adapters from memory.

You certainly need to show pictures of the back of the wheels if you hope to sell them, and a price.

I have had Revolutions on my S4 for several years now. They do not use adaptor rings like Minilites do, and they don't need them. They have a bit more clearance on the inside than either Minilites or Panasports - so more offset. I have 175 Pirelli's on mine, but my rear fenders are relieved a bit. I think 155's on those Revolutions would clear on a stock S4. If anyone wants pics or measurements, I could provide them tomorrow.
There is absolutely no issue with the lack of steel rings, they stay tight, and they are the easiest wheels to keep clean.
