Simon,
Good to hear you are being cautious.

While taking the front knuckles apart I reached out to Don Thompson to see if he wanted to sell his rotors from the parted out FHC. He was and so I headed up to see him. Interesting that the front rotors are smaller than the rears. I wasnt expecting that.
Also was able to pick these up thru a member here!
Excited to be getting closer and closer to a roller. The car is getting some fantastic parts. Its a good feeling.

Bumping this back as I finally am starting to make some progress. Purchased the bearings along with the rose-joints so I can install the A-Arms on my next trip up. All new parts basically everywhere.
I used some paint remover to get the half-crusty paint off the dust shields. My question is related to this yellow-ish color. Is this the original primer? I noticed some on the hub also.

Thanksgiving weekend means a mini update on the project. Doesn’t look like too different from before though
I took the upper wishbones to install since I now had the rose joint ends from TTR. Overall was nice and easy... but then I noticed that there’s a huge gap of smooth area to wear the nuts bottom out. I’ll have to reach out to TTR but if you guys know what’s the solution to this I’d appreciate it
Thanks

The studio of the The Tuman Show is getting an upgrade so all of the progress has paused…
I’m also at a crossroads about whether to get the Stainless Steel dust covers or just finish stripping the steel and repainting them.
Love the link though, put a smile on my face.

And I'm still sad that Lolly is no longer with us.
