123 Distributor

PostPost by: nwbaxter66 » Sat Mar 13, 2021 4:54 pm

For those of you who have installed the 123 distributor on Weber head cars have you found that pulling the forward DCOE makes the job much easier or is it worth just troubling ones way through leaving them in situ?
Thanks

I do it carbs in place as I'd rather not mess with the tuning if I can (synch), not much room but just enough (without the cap). Taking ones time... If it's your first 123 install, have a good look at it without the cap priori to installation, the green led telling the spark reference on mine is small, visible through the webbing but not a lot (or do it in the dark I guess).
