Spyder Zetec Tune Up

Hi all,
I have a spyder Zetec Christopher Neil plus 2 which I get serviced locally. I'm lucky that my local garage has a excellent mechanic named Chris with 30 years experience on lotus cars and has decent understanding of the spider conversion.
An issue that has come up recently is minor tune ups on the car involving adjustments to the ecu. The car runs rich at the moment and Chris says he is unable to adjust this as their equipment cannot adjust a custom set up such as the spyder. I don't really want to drive for two hours to get to spyder's premises for this adjustment. Does anyone have any possible solutions? I live in burton on Trent.

I believe that Spyder use the Emerald ECU (http://www.emeraldm3d.com).
Ring them and ask for details of a tuner nearby, or buy a connecting (serial link) cable, get the software and ask your man to do it (software is easy to use, so just needs a competent man with an O2 sensor)

It may be worth asking for recommendations from MLOC (http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index.php?act=home) , or on one of the other 'seven' type kit car forums (e.g. Locost). The Emerald ECU is a common Elise upgrade and there will be someone who would have a Midlands tuner recommendation who is familiar with it. Emerald themselves have a rolling road http://www.emeraldm3d.com/, but they are near Snetterton in Norfolk.
