OMG I love Morris Commercials. I've owned 2, plus 14 travelers, a convertible, and a 2 door. I used to put Nissan drivetrains in them plus disc brakes. I've actually been looking at one close by, but we can't come to an agreement on price. Not sure I would put a TC in one unless it was a Toyota or?

There was a custom-made ally radiator, quite well forward (I'll have a look if I have a better photo) I thought it looked rather thin (front to back) but it was about as wide/high as the wide-rad Elans. I did not have a chance to talk to the owner so can't tell you much, other than (overheard) "we only fired the engine up yesterday". The stainless exhaust headers showed no sign of having been hot, one or two vital items seemed to be missing from the engine bay. The rear cylinder inlet-trumpet had been cut away to clear a suspension component- not enough to avoid problems, imho. The gear lever was way too far back for it to be what we Elan blokes are used to, being in the "normal" position for a Morris- perhaps some remote-change, or totally different box involved? The rear axle was in a standard Morris casting, no idea what was within, suspension via coils and other "clever stuff".
The cam-cover was from a Europa. The engine looked absolutely brand-new, they have obviously thrown some money at It; wish I owned the motor but, having learned to drive in Morris Minor van, I'm not sure about the rest of the car!
