Salut
All that said it does look nicely finished (if not completely original) and the ad is more honest than a lot I've seen.
If it sells well it's a good omen for the value of ours.

We recently installed a Mikuni kit from http://www.prirace.com. It's a complete kit with K&Ns, hardware, and throttle cable set up for a left-hand drive '69 Plus 2.

Hello Vernon! The car is waiting on a new fuel tank so I'll update the thread in a few weeks.
The original Strombergs needed rebuilt and I had already used Chris Cancelli's products in the past on Triumphs and just thought this would be a fun, easy project. Mikunis are a little lighter in weight than the Stromberg setup and they bolt right on. Plus Chris Cancelli completes backs his products and will ship new jets and answer any questions you may have.
The K&N filters easily slip onto the horn of each Mikuni making them easy to remove and clean. The Strombergs are now in a box and will keep them for future use if the next owner wants to re-install them.
I'll write back in a few weeks.
Happy Easter,

Hi Carlos- George Ross installed the Mikunis. They really pull strong in the upper RPMs and I like how they look. Cold starting is like any other carb and the choke is needed.

I'm curious to know more as well. The Prirace site seems to be defunct though.

hi Guys
I feel a tat frustrated.
trying to get a response out of the people selling these kits seems to be quite a challenge.
I will keep on trying, and I will promise to report back with any information. seems like an awesome piece of kit. I am very excited about a possible alternative to the Stromberg/SU scenario.
speak soon cheers robin
