A Japanese university recently took a Toyota 2000GT (probably the first and finest Japanese supercar with only about 300 remaining in the world), stripped it out and fitted it with an electric motor and solar cells on the bonnet, under the name of "Crazy Car Project.!! It was on display at Goodwood. So who is going to make an electric Elan ?

Listen up Molly.........."you are a pinhead". In honor of the pinhead I'm going out and cut down a tree and pee in a stream.

Carl, I had a good look around the electric Toyota at Goodwood, and the wings, bonnet boot and doors are all fibreglass / kevlar. They used an original 2000 GT to take the moulds to make a replica, but that's about all. That's if I properly understood the Japanese chap I was chatting to! It's just such a pretty car, petrol or electric!
